Seperti yang diketahui umum, hari ini bakal diadakan Perhimpunan Bersih 2012 (Bersih 3.0) bertempat di dataran Merdeka. Walaupun mahkamah majisteret telah pun mengeluarkan perintah larangan pihak BERSIH mengadakan sekali mengadakan Perhimpunan Bersih 2012 (Bersih 3.0) di Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur bermula pada hari (28 April 2012) sehinggalah 1 Mei 2012, tetapi pihak BERSIH akan tetap berhimpun seberapa dekat dengan lokasi Dataran Merdeka asalkan lokasi tersebut maish lagi mematuhi perintah mahkamah melarang mereka berkumpul di Dataran Merdeka.

Berita Terkini Bersih Setakat Pukul 9.20 pagi

• 9.20 pagi : MASJID JAMEK Jln dari Jln Tun Perak ke Bangkok Bank ditutup. Peserta berhimpun di LRT
• 9.15 pagi : KLCC – Pintu masuk ke KLCC menghadap Bangunan Public Bank dan pintu masuk utama ke Menara Berkembar ditutup.
• Ketua Pemuda MCA Indera Mahkota David Choi, walaupun menghadapi tindakan disiplin parti kerana menyokong Himpunan Hijau, dilihat berada di kalangan orang ramai.
• Pemuda MCA Bahagian Indera Mahkota merupakan satu-satunya bahagian parti itu yang menentang loji nadir bumi yang terletak di Gebeng, Pahang.
• Peserta yang kini berjumlah kira-kira 500 orang selepas disertai kumpulan lain yang berada di taman KLCC mula melaungkan “Stop Lynas”.
• Kira-kira 100 anggota polis membentuk tembok manusia untuk menghalang orang ramai daripada berhampiran pintu masuk.
• 9:14 pagi : JALAN TUN PERAK menghala Jln Datuk Onn ditutup. 50 polis kelihatan berkawal.
• 9.00 pagi : JALAN PETALING, DEKAT HOTEL LOK ANN Seorang gadis berbaju kuning beri bunga polis bernama Yap, minta sokong BERSIH. Yap tak ambil dan hanya tersenyum. Orang ramai dan anggota polis lain bertepuk tangan.
• Anggota polis dilihat mengawal beberapa lokasi utama, termasuk Yang Keng Benevolent Dramatic Association di persimpangan Jalan Sultan dan Hang Jebat.
• 9.09 pagi : KLCC 500 berkumpul di taman dekat pintu masuk Suria & mula melaungkan slogan anti-Lynas.

Bersih 3.0 Malaysia

Bersih, short for the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Malay: Gabungan Pilihanraya Bersih dan Adil), is a coalition of 62 non-governmental organisations founded in November 2006. Since its founding, Bersih has been supported by the three main opposition parties, Parti 

Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), PAS, and DAP. Bersih is the Malay word for "clean^"

Bersih, is chaired by former Bar Council president Ambiga Sreenevasan. Ambiga served as president of the Bar from 2007 to 2009 and is a recipient of the U.S. State Department's International Women of Courage Awards.

The first Bersih rally on 10 November 2007 was estimated to have drawn between 30,000 to 50,000 people. It was broken up by police using tear gas and chemical-laced water cannons. The rally was said to play a major role in helping the opposition parties make big gains in the 2008 general election. The second rally on 9 July 2011 was met with similar force by the police after they tried to make their way to Stadium Merdeka

Bersih 3.0 rally

The Bersih 3.0 rally (also called the Sit In rally or Duduk Bantah in Malay) was a demonstration in Kuala Lumpur held on 28 April 2012. This rally was organised as a follow-up to the 2011 Bersih rally and the 2007 Bersih rally. The rally, which is being organised by the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih), was supported by Pakatan Rakyat, the coalition of the three largest opposition parties in Malaysia. Following the last rally in 2011, the government of Malaysia organised a Public Select Committee (PSC) into looking at electoral reforms in Malaysia which recently release their proposals on electoral reforms. Bersih has claim that PSC proposals were half-hearted and pointed out that the Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) is insincere in introducing electoral reforms. Bersih has stated that they would call off the rally if the Malaysian government gives a guarantee that the electoral reforms will take place before the next Malaysian general elections.
